Over that last few years, we have see our fair share of disasters both here in the US and around the world. We as Guyanese

know all so well. The Rainy seasons the last 3 yrs has gotten progressively worst. and the losses have been in the millions. some folks has only the shirts on their back. Here in the US we are still reminded of Katrina(Hurricane) and a entire city is almost gone. Just yesterday they said that over 25 churches will be closed since they have no membership. and reports said that the churches played a vital role in assistance to the citizens of Louisiana.  I am also aware that many of you get those call from folks asking for contributions and you have read the stories of financial mismanagment at these places but such places like the RED Cross have been a great asset to our society. and most of these organizations depend your charitable Giving to do the work that they do.
